Terms of Service
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Harmony Food Agent website at harmonyfoodagent.com and the Harmony Food Agent app (together, "Harmony"). Harmony is created and owned by Damon Abramson and operated by Harmony Technologies ("we", "us"). By using Harmony you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. Harmony is not medical advice
Harmony gives general information about food for education. Food scores, condition alerts, meal plans and suggestions about foods, herbs and supplements are not a diagnosis, a treatment or a substitute for advice from your doctor, pharmacist or a registered dietitian. Do not ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in Harmony. Talk to your doctor before changing your diet or starting a supplement, especially if you are pregnant, take medication or have a medical condition. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
2. Always check the label
Product information comes from manufacturers' labels and third-party databases such as Open Food Facts, FatSecret and the USDA. It can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and manufacturers change recipes. Harmony cannot guarantee that a product is free of any allergen or ingredient. Always read the package yourself before buying or eating a product, particularly for allergies. Prices and availability shown for stores are estimates and may differ in the store.
3. Who can use Harmony
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, use Harmony with a parent's or guardian's permission. Profiles for children are created and managed by an adult.
4. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us right away at support@harmonyfoodagent.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- You can export your data or delete your account at any time under Account & Security in the app.
5. Information about your family
When you add family members, you confirm that you are allowed to share their information, such as names, ages, health conditions and allergies, for the purpose of planning their food. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Free service, advertising and the ad-free subscription
- Harmony is free to use with an account.
- Harmony shows advertising, including ads served by Google, to users who do not have an ad-free subscription or an organization account. Ads are labeled and never change a food score or recommendation.
- Where we offer an optional ad-free subscription, its price and billing period are shown before you buy. It is billed through the store or payment provider you buy it from (for example Google Play) and renews until you cancel. You can cancel through that store or provider; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds follow that store's or provider's policies and applicable law.
- The ad-free subscription removes ads only. It does not unlock additional features.
7. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use Harmony for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- copy, scrape or harvest Harmony's content or data by automated means, or resell access to it;
- try to break, overload or get around Harmony's security, rate limits or access controls;
- reverse engineer Harmony's software except where the law allows it;
- submit false information in support requests or partner listings.
8. Ownership
Harmony's software, design, text, the Grandma Harmony character and other original content belong to Damon Abramson and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use Harmony for your own personal, non-commercial purposes under these terms. Food Compass 2.0 was developed by Tufts University and is cited as the source of the scoring method; product data from Open Food Facts is available under its own open license. Other names and trademarks belong to their owners, and their appearance in Harmony does not mean they endorse it.
9. Other services and links
Harmony links to and uses services run by others, such as stores, recipe sites, research publishers and payment providers. We are not responsible for their content, products or policies.
10. Suspending or ending use
You can stop using Harmony at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Harmony entirely, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
11. Disclaimer
Harmony is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that Harmony will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Damon Abramson and Harmony Technologies are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information in Harmony. Our total liability for any claim relating to Harmony is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Harmony after a change means you accept the updated terms.
